General Info

Our 2009-10 season is winding to a close. Those that are interested in continuing to play NJB in the Spring should check out the Silicon Valley Spring NJB League. Check back here the first of August 2010 for signup information for the 2010-11 NJB Fall Season.


Please plan to attend Closing Ceremonies on Wednesday, March 17th, at 6:30pm in the Buchser Main gym. Hear a summary of this year's season, call for volunteers for next year, and swap your signed volunteer form for your original volunteer check.


This year for the first time we would like to invite you to join us for an End of Season Feedback Chapter Meeting with the West San Jose NJB Board. The meeting will be held on Saturday March 13th from 3-5 PM at Monroe MS. Attending families can receive 2 hours volunteer credit.


Our next board meeting will be held on Sunday, April 18th, 7:00 pm, at Round Table Pizza, 4400 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose.

West San Jose NJB is a youth basketball organization serving the cities of West San Jose, Santa Clara, Campbell and Cupertino. Refer to our boundary description to find the exact areas that we cover.

Here is the typical season schedule for NJB:

August/September: Registration
October: All-net tryouts, Division evaluations, team formation
Late October: Practice begins
Early December: All-net & Division games begin
February: Division games end
Late February - Early March: Division tournament
March: All-net games end; All-net Tournament; All-star Tournament
